Blue Sail and Gillespies are developing a concept for a major activity centre and visitor hub in mid-Pembrokeshire, at Llys y Fran, Welsh Water’s reservoir site and country park. Graham who is leading the project said: ‘ This is a lovely spot, a sheltered valley with maturing oak woodland. We want to develop something here that complements the coastal attractions of Pembrokeshire and adds another perspective to the visitor offer. There could be major investment in the site and the creation of new jobs, but of course a sound business case has to be made’. It is expected that Blue Sail’s report will be considered by Welsh Water’s Board at the end of April.
