Exploring East Lincolnshire

Natural coastline, seaside resorts and countryside - what's the opportunity?

We’ve been exploring the gentle landscapes of the Lincolnshire Wolds and miles of sandy beaches along the Lincolnshire coast working on a destination strategy for East Lindsey District Council. The area is an interesting mix of gentle rural landscapes, natural coastline, traditional seaside resorts, historic market towns build of red-brick and more churches than you can imagine.  There’s also a fair bit of wildlife watching too – although this charming carved snail on the roof of the museum in Louth wasn’t quite what we expected.

Our job is to assess just what will make East Lindsey’s tourism offer sing – and how a diverse  set of small-scale places, attractions and experiences can sensibly be taken to market.
