The three Torbay towns of Brixham, Paignton and Torquay which make up this premier resort have a long history of welcoming visitors. Their English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark status offer an outstanding environment to be active in and enjoy experiences on and off the water. This is backed up by a rich culture and events offer, superb local seafood, drink and hospitality.
With 4.5m visitors pre-Covid and recent accolades from Tripadvisor as the UKs top trending summer holiday destination in 2021 there is lots to celebrate.
Blue Sail will be developing a plan, working closely with tourism stakeholders from across the public, private and third sector, to set out the strategic direction and plans for the future management, development and marketing of the English Riviera and to help the destination emerge more strongly and sustainably from the pandemic.
