People Make Glasgow

It’s not just the Scots among the Blue Sail crew who are delighted to have the opportunity to (re)discover just how good Glasgow ‘s tourism offer is.  Fresh from successfully hosting the Commonwealth Games, Glasgow is reviewing its national and international positioning and we have been asked to analyse the strengths, gaps and opportunities. Working with a great project team from Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Scottish Enterprise, VisitScotland and Glasgow Life we are producing a ‘Think Piece’ which will be used to stimulate conversations in the city in advance of a new visitor economy strategy. By the way – ‘People Make Glasgow’ is Glasgow’s new(ish) brand, crowd-sourced and launched last year – a bold statement in pink, based on the friendliness and warmth of Glasgow’s locals.
