Kids and the City

Smiling Kids

A new trend being exploited by Thistle Hotels are familes on city breaks. Thistle says they have seen a substantial increase in enquiries and bookings of ‘kidcations’ [well – you heard it here first] at city centre hotels across the UK.

Parents are apparently looking to treat the family to short breaks that combine fun with learning. And Thistle are responding with £80 a night rooms with packages including 50% off an additional room, under 12s eating for half price, and a dedicated splash time for kids in the swimming pool.

Children also receive a goody bag including novelty treats like a magic expandable flannel and folding toothbrush, as well as pencils, activity sheet and notepad.
